Upcoming CASA Climate Change Presentations
On February 22nd CASA kicked off an new effort to reach out to the faith community in Alameda with a green workshop held at the Alameda Free Library. That kickoff workshop was a great success with representatives of 10 distinct faith communities joining us. Between 30 and 40 Alamedans joined us for an informative evening.
For the next step in our outreach to the faith community we are honored to have Trinity Lutheran Church hosting, over two weekends, CASA’s climate change presentations. The first talk will be held on March 27th from 9-10am. The second talk will be held on April 10th from 9-10am. Both talks will be held in Trinity’s Fellowship Hall at 1323 Central Avenue. Trinity Lutheran Church has graciously extended an invitation to all Alamedans to join them to hear these important talks.
