Drawdown Alameda

“Drawdown is when the net concentration of greenhouse gases in the air globally begins to decline on a year-to-year basis.”

Reversing Global Warming: Introduction to Drawdown

This is a 2-hour workshop inviting our community to see the possibility of reversing global warming and understand that we all have an important role to play in that process. Through videos and group activities, presenters will introduce a comprehensive plan to reverse global warming from Project Drawdown, a scientific study that identifies 100 solutions which, when implemented together, can begin to roll back global warming by 2050.

Participants will:

  • Learn about solutions that could actually begin to reverse global warming
  • Connect with people in our community to find hope and inspiration while discovering new possibilities for addressing global warming
  • Learn how we can change the conversation about global warming from “Game Over” to “Game On!”
