DESCRIPTION:Bike Walk Alameda and Community Action for a Sustainable Alameda City Council Candidate Forum\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBike Walk Alameda and Community Action for a Sustainable Alameda jointly sponsored an online forum with the candidates for City Council on Wednesday\, September 16th. Alameda can be a leader in reducing the impacts of climate change and creating a safe and enjoyable place to walk and bike. The City adopted its Climate Action and Resiliency Plan in September 2019 and the City’s Active Transportation Plan is currently in development. Decisions made by the City Council over the next few years will significantly affect the implementation of these plans and the vision of the City’s future.
