Climate Action Public Comment Session

Alameda’s draft Climate Action and Resiliency Plan is now available for review and comment: https://www.opentownhall.com/7405.
The City is accepting public comments on the first draft of the Climate Action and Resiliency Plan. Everyone with a stake in Alameda is encouranged to participate. The public comment period will run from May 14-31. Link to the online platform.

As an island city, Alameda is particularly vulnerable to sea level rise, and at the same time it faces the challenges caused by greenhouse gas emissions.
The City of Alameda is developing a Climate Action and Resiliency Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate impacts like increased flooding.
