The Oakland Estuary is a special corner of San Francisco Bay that’s home to countless marine animals and a thriving community. This stretch of water gets hit hard by urban trash pollution, storm drain runoff and illegal dumping. Join us to remove garbage from the shores of the Alameda & Oakland Estuary and protect our water, wildlife, and community!

We’ll have cleanup teams working “On the Water” via kayaks, boat, and stand up paddle boards. Team captains will lead groups to shoreline garbage hotspots that are only accessible by watercraft. Hugely discounted Kayak rentals available through California Canoe and Kayak. On-land non-watercraft volunteers also needed for dock and site logistic and clean up.
